Crockpot Kalua Pig

Ingredients:

1. 4 to 5 lbs of Pork butt or shoulder (this is hard to find in Seattle
   fyi...good luck)

2. 1 clove garlic crushed..(optional) I've never used it but was told its
   good in there.

3. 3 tablespoons of Hawaiian salt or rock salt or sea salt...whatever you got

4. 3 tablespoons of Liquid smoke

First, cut some slits into the pork so the salt and smoke can absorb into the
meat while cooking.

Second, massage salt all over the pork...making sure to cover all four sides
with salt...don't put too much salt on it...just enough to kind of coat it
sparingly.

Third, massage the liquid smoke into the pork....again making sure to get all
four sides....go lightly on this stuff 'cause it is very concentrated....

Fourth, put it in the crockpot on low for 12-14 hrs....or on high for 8-10 hrs.
To tell that it is done....stick a fork in it and see if the meat separates easily.

Fifth, after cooking is done.....drain excess oil and shred meat with a fork.

Sixth, get some hot rice and start eating....!!!!

ENJOY
